Planning Meeting - May 28, 2011: Looking around OLPS

the purified water station. the seminary's biz venture. so far doing okay but needs more regular customers. pakisabi tabi sa mga kapamilya niyo na didi na lang magbakal. free delivery po. barato lang. masiram pa.

the meeting was an eye-opener for most of us on the state of the school. and we came away impressed with the dedication and persistence of fr. rector in keeping alive (literally) the seminary. we yearned for the better times in the past though. so any of you good hearted sano, kindly help the seminary. they especially lack resources to attract good teachers - dili na pareho san dati na we get the best teachers

Planning meet - May 28 2011

so the may 28 meeting pushed through. jet and rino braved the hordes of crazed passengers going to bikol to be in time for the meeting. hehehe, well actually they rode a shitty bus alongside a vomit prone kid which made the trip for them a confirmed penitencia -- habol pa sa holy week :P

this is rino. so masipag! here at ingko, its 5am, 30m minutes after getting off the bus and rino is already checking his powerpoint for last minute adjustments. but today is a very very hectic day. 7:00am bfast with fr. gerry, 9am meet with fr. rector, lunch at fr. gerrys again, 1am travel to irosin for a meeting, 5pm travel to bulan for dinner with tyrone and travel back to irosin for the night and then back to bulan at 5am for the fun run.

and he also was the designated driver of the car that erwin lent us. grabe si kuya hehe. strong!!!

salamat tabi erwin. it really made it easy for us to move around.

Black Sat Meeting - April 2011

May 12 Meetup

The manila based maelstrom finally was able to meet-up last may 12 at sm megamall taking advantage of junie's presence (he was attending a training workshop)

Junie, Jet, Rino, Yayes and Kit made it. Cando didnt coz he was in the process of moving his catering business to a bigger place that day (syempre me discount pag sano nagpa-cater hehe). Goja didnt too coz he was attending a finance training. likewise Tyrone who had to attend to some urgent business.

The meeting was great and Rino proposed a fundamental change to the homecoming program. We will email you all the deets later. Super galing talaga ng idea na yun.

Meetup at Metrowalk

Rino, Kit, Junie and Me made it to the meetup. Four others didnt make it --Cando begged off due to a family emergency; Eric didn't make it as he had to attend to his sick baby; Franz was reviewing for his cooking exam; and Gabby was suddenly unreachable.

It was fun to be together again sharing jokes and reminiscing OLPS times. Pasensya na tabi an mga absent kay syempre napag-iristuryahan kamo hehehehe.

In between stories, jokes and memories we were able to discuss and draft some talking points about the 2011Homecoming. Once i finish the write up i will email them to you all. We'd like to request the sorsi group to meetup and maybe discuss this too so that we can draft a more targeted and efficient arrangements. oks?


Rino took a break from corporate life and is now a partner in a real estate/construction biz where he serves as a manager. He's also very active in Gawad Kalinga and other religious groups and activities and in various business ventures.



Junie quit the political life a year ago and is now living the big city life. He currently works as a customer relations person in a BPO in Makati. His very stressful job leaves little time for social life (ahem, aahem) but he's on track to becoming a manager very soon.



Kit continues to enjoy success in his meat import business. He's also a proud dad again of a 5 mos. old baby.


Jet is the MIS guy in a regional CSO focused on rural development. He heads creativejet, an outfit that provides cost efficient IT solutions and graphic design services to various NGOs and government agencies.

2010 Batch Meetup tomorrow March 14
