Happy Birthday, pards. Even if you're a year younger than most of us, a lot of people now address you with "Tio" before your name. [This is Eric's best shot from my collection. But this is so "UN-ERIC". It's tough to bring oneself to believe that Eric after all these years still takes communion. Eric in the State of Grace? What is the world coming to? Bwahahahahahaha!]
Happy Bday Eric!
diin an karaon ta?
btw, natuloy ka ba sa nursing school? anyways good luck and have fun!

fiesta sa gubat
collins and i arrived at junie's place around 8 pm. msgr. pax, fr. gerry, dante, dave and henri greeted us with their eyes and mouths ready to jump the gun as they studied the bountiful table. nakaparilibut na sa lamesa. fiestahununon!! i didn't remember us praying before eating!! hehehe. and would you believe it! henri cooked one of the viands ( pangfiesta an culinary talent ni baka ). ang walang kamatayang adobadong kulambutan. masiramununon. the trouble was, he cooked it so hot unaware that junie's father hate spicy foods. hehehe. naalo si henri when he learned about it.
after the delectable dinner, we all huddled around junie's computer and feasted on our blog home, making fun of the old pictures. we also marvelled over linuz' pictures. someone suggested to msgr. mons and fr. gerry that they put up a blog site for each of their batch too. they dismissed the idea with all of us laughing. imagine a site raining with black and white pictures!! hehehe!! may colored pix naman kuno san panahon ninda according to fr. gerry. i doubt it. hahahaha. later in the night mgsr. mons and fr. gerry had to go. the rest of us stayed and zealously attacked the table again to our tummies content( thanks a lot junie and to your family).
after a short chat with jet on line, we drove to rizal beach and parked ourselves on the shore. There again we shared undying seminary anecdotes and also horror stories over some shots of brandy and champagne. we left the place around 3am heavy once more with rekindled brotherhood and memories. and i can't help but look forward to july 3, gabby's son's baptism.

June 12, 2005. Eve of the Feast of our Patron Saint, Anthony of Padua. Around 8 pm, we gathered around the table. Nagpatuklingan si Mons (partly hidden from view by my mother's head) and Fr. Gerry on who'd say the "Grace before Meals." Guess who won out. By the way, Fr. Gerry just got back from a five-day vacation in Cebu where he stayed at Tyrone's mansion. According to him, Tyrone regularly visits the blogspot site.
Around 11 pm, two hours after Mons and Fr. Gerry had left, we proceeded to Rizal Beach for the marathon 'bonding' session. We started with the usual reunion fare-seminary recollections. But as the night deepened, the stories took a different turn-towards the supernatural beings-with each one sharing his personal brush with a white lady, an 'asuwang', or a 'patianak.' We headed home around 2:30 am.
