Road trip

arriving at around 10 pm in sorsogon (in normal driving mode courtesy of rino), we proceeded to fatima where the ever gracious host fr. paquito monje prepared us a dinner.

si shaider? hehehe, si fr. peewee just arrived from a mass in one of the barrios. mahiguson si padre talaga. 

Misa sa simbahan ni Fr. Peewee

we attended sunday mass. we wanted sana fr. peewee to say mass for us pero hindi na raw pwede kasi nakatalo ng misa siya so attend na lang kami ng misa nung isang visiting priest.

the church is still under construction so if you know anybody who can support fr. peewee in constructing the church, do let us know. 

Big Dorm

the big dorm is configured differently nowadays with the cabinets in the middle of the room. before they were on the sides. and also gone were the creaky spring metal beds replaced with maybe the beds from the annex dorm. hmm, and they have ceiling fans too.

i dunno but to me big dorm looked a bit happier during our time (1983)

Memory lane

we walked around after lunch and looked up the rooms. remember big dorm? and look at the tiles man.... quintessentially OLPS. lotsa memories

On TV!

here's Rino being interviewed by the local cable tv news team.

apparently the news team was either so impressed or so surprised with what rino said that all they can ask each other after the interview ended was "pwede man baya idto padi?"

last we heard, the interview was aired and the whole of sorsogon tuned in, as in all :-)

Tio Nards, da cook

we visited tio nards and presented him with our shirt, in gratitude for the many weird, awe-inspiring culinary concoctions we had to hurdle through four long years hehehehe

pero sinong chef ang makakatalo kay tio nards? na kahit ang tutong na kanin at mantika na pinagprituhan ng isda ay pinag-aagawan ng hindi mabilang na seminaristas?
